Books, Music And DVD’s- The Perfect Present.

Many people struggle to choose the right present whether it be for a special occasion such as a Birthday or Anniversary. Items such as Books, Music and DVD’s have become very popular presents as they are very common hobbies.

There are such a wide variety of books out there you are bound to find something suitable. The classic novels still sell very well as there are a range of themes ranging from humour to horror and mystery to romance. As well as novels, other books such as autobiographies have sold extremely well as the public want an insight into celebrities lives. There are also many cook books out from the leading chefs which many people like to test their culinary skills.

Music has always been a favourite and with an ever increasing number of bands appearing on the scene, it is no wonder why there are millions upon millions of albums and singles sold each week. The ability to download has hindered the music industry over the past 10 years but there is still a healthy amount of money in the industry.

Sometimes after a long week at work you just want to relax and watch a good film, the sales of DVD’s has gone through the roof in recent times due to the blockbusters that seem to be released each month. Recently, films such The Dark Knight and Iron Man, which together earned nearly $850 million, have played a huge part in the increase of DVD sales. Also the introduction of Blu-ray has meant we can all enjoy our favourite DVD’s in fantastic quality.

One reason why books, DVD’s and music are so popular is because they are not too expensive and at a time when we are trying to cut back this is very useful. Books vary in price and can cost anything up to around £20, the same goes for DVD’s and music depending on what you are buying.
