There is no cure for tinnitus, but there is relief. The condition tinnitus, ringing in the ears, has been known for 100’s of years, yet present day scientists and medical researchers have not found a cure for this condition. Doctors treat you with drugs and alternative practitioners treat you with a natural tinnitus treatment.

Tinnitus doesn’t seem to hold importance in the medical community that is why there is not cure for it. But fortunately, many of the herbalist and natural practitioners have developed a tinnitus treatment from years of experience.

There are many reasons why you would have ringing in your ears. In cases where physical ear damage has occurred with loss of hearing, you may have ringing for the rest of your life. But not all tinnitus cases come from the same cause and so there are many natural tinnitus treatments that can work for someone but not for others.

A general rule of thumb is that prolong exposure to sound in excess of 90 decibels will damage your ears, which eventually leads to tinnitus. Shouting loudly is around 80 decibels and a jet plane at full thrust during take off is over 120 decibels. Sounds over 130 decibels will be painful to your ears and will probably cause ear damage.

Tinnitus has be traced to being exposed to loud sounds over many years. Loud sounds as found in concert, listening to music at home, working in traffic, working in construction, or where a high pitched hy lose their hearing, they become susceptible ringing in their ears.

Stress, anxiety, and depression can lead to tinnitus, but they can also lead to other diseases. Experiencing these psychological conditions over long periods of time can lead to being unable to ignore sounds or ringing that may appear in the head. This in turn can result in more anxiety and in more ringing. Use of yoga as an anxiety tinnitus treatment can reduce the ringing.

Ear health is also important to maintain. Cleaning the ears of wax should be done regularly. If you don’t eat enough essential fatty acids, your ear wax will be harder than normal. Ear wax should be soft and not hard. Hard wax left in the ear for long periods of time can cause damage to the ear drum and create loss of hearing.

Here is the tinnitus treatment diet. This is a list of foods that has been associated with making tinnitus worse. Avoid these foods, coffee, tea, cocoa, and other caffeine drinks. Saturated fats have also been associated with hearing loss and tinnitus. Following a natural diet will help reduce tinnitus.
