Pho (pronounced "phir" in English) is influenced by the Chinese and French cuisines, and was believed to have originally derived from a French soup, "pot au feu",(pot on fire)which Wikipedia defines as a French beef stew.
The first country, where a system of cooking food in a so-called love style was developed, is considered to be India. Indian cooks were the first ones who noticed that a taste of sexual secretions depends on a taste of food. They paid a huge attention to scents, as, to their opinion, scent of food influenced body smell a lot, and the last, in it’s turn, stroke the keynote of love games.
In Ayurveda, people are classified according to three principles, vata, kapha, and pitta. But it's important to understand that although we may be dominant in one principle, we actually have all three present in our body. The others are in a smaller ration. Most people will actually be a combination of two of these principles, with the third only playing a minor role. But because we all contain the three, any of them can get out of balance.
Stay hydrated. This is so important. Try and have regular small drinks (tea, soup, cool drinks) as gulping down large vodual and family.
Mint really tastes of Spring (not just because we serve mint sauce with Spring lamb!) and is great with fruit, although this mix doesn’t immediately spring (pun intended!) to mind. Try it ground up with sugar and sprinkled over peaches or pineapple.
A teaspoonful of crushed fennel each day keeps the body healthy and helps increase energy and sexual prowess. Roman soldiers chewed fennel on long marches when they were unable to stop for food, considering it one of the finest foods for increasing strength and endurance, hence adding to its credibility as a long-standing powerful aphrodisiac. Add one teaspoonful of dried seeds to each cupful of boiling water and leave to stand in a teapot until properly brewed. Strain and leave to cool. Take as tea or juice about half an hour before making love.
You can find both aloe vera and emu oil at your regular health food store. When choosing aloe vera, pick one that is as pure as possible and that doesn't contain alcohol. You can actually use aloe vera as a daily moisturizer and then add in emu oil during flare ups. I've seen this routine work quite well for many of my rosacea patients.
