Many people in India who are interested in social service join some India NGO and start working as volunteers there. They feel that this gives them a mental satisfaction that cannot be attained from anything else or than serving the poor. Another important reason why they join NGO in India is because, as individuals, they would not be able to reach the people who deserve help.
There are even many people who come from other countries just to serve the poor people and those who live in the slums to India. All of them help them through any one of the India NGO as NGO in India serve as a good platform to start helping the poor people. If you too should be interested in joining any NGO India, we can join anytime, as they would consider it to their pleasure. Either you can join India NGO as a part time volunteer or as a full time worker depending on the amount of free time and interest, you have in social service.

There are even NGO in India that employees staff for a monthly stipend, however, that is very rare. As India NGO are non-profit organizations, they do not have nay source of income or they do not sell any service or products. This makes things very complicated, as they would have to rely on the funds that are generated through contributions and other fund raising events for all their expenses. With the funds that are generated, they should execute all the programs that they develop for the welfare of the poor people and should also take ho live in the slum.
This means that the India NGO running the program would need require funds to execute the program without any problem. In such a situation, they would be happy and appreciate your help if you offer them your time for free and help them in offering free education in India for poor children. This way you would help them in reducing an expense that they would otherwise be paying a paid teacher. If teaching is not your confident area, you can help them in raising funds for running these program. That too would be of great help to them. You can visit Tarang.org if you should be interested in doing any work of this sort and helping the poor.
