Many people in India who are interested in social service join some India NGO and start working as volunteers there. They feel that this gives them a mental satisfaction that cannot be attained from anything else or than serving the poor. Another important reason why they join NGO in India is because, as individuals, they would not be able to reach the people who deserve help. There are even many people who come from other countries just to serve the poor people and those who live in the slums to India. In such a situation, they would be happy and appreciate your help if you offer them your time for free and help them in offering free education in India for poor children. This way you would help them in reducing an expense that they would otherwise be paying a paid teacher.
