No Audio Device Error Message

When this message appears on your screen, you need to check your computer’s BIOS and ensure the audio is set to “Auto” mode.
The most frequent cause of this problem is an incorrect audio device driver. To double check if your driver matches the built-in or third-party audio device of your machine, you can refer to the device’s user manual that came bundled with it and look for its type and specifications.
You can also open your computer and directly look at the information written on the audio device itself.
Also, make it a point to check all connections by ensuring that everything is properly plugged in its correct place. Sometimes, the error is caused by loose connections and an improperly attached sound card.
If everything is plugged properly, you can download the driver from the manufacturer’s website once you know the type of your audio device. Make sure the driver you have downloaded is compatible with the operating system installed in your machine.
If problems with your audio device persist, you can test it on a different machine to see if it is in good working condition. If it still does not work on another machine, don’t believe in coincidences – you have a busted audio device.
Go to where you bought the audio device in case it is still under warranty. If it isn’t - just go out and buy a new one. Remember to buy an audio device compatible with your motherboard.
Don’t forget to ask for the updated software drivers of the device. These are usually stored in CDs.
